| After Graduating High School I moved to California to obtain a college education. I attended Orange Coast College and obtained a certificate in Electronics Technology. I immediately got a job at a High Speed Professional Duplication facility where I applied my learnings for eight years. During this period I was factory trained by Cetec Gauss and received "Models for Management" training by Teleometrics | ||
| During those eight years a friend I used to play computer games decided to start a Bulletin Board Service. BBS Formerly known as Calypso Online Services. We started it in a spare bedroom in his house. I didn't see any future in the BBS so I stopped my participation and went back to school to finish my degree. | ||
| I attended Irvine Valley College | ||
| Then Saddleback Valley College taking general education classes. | ||
|
I soon became so obsessed with computers, that I changed my career and employment to the Computer field. I became a computer field technician, working on all types of computers and printers. For 5 months I drove all over Southern California. I eventually became the in house bench technician and started my interest in networking.
| Two years and tons of Netware courses at local colleges I became a Certified Netware Engineer CNE | ||
| Learning that the BBS I was formerly involved in was turning into a big success in the Internet and Windows NT Server Was becoming the popular intranet solutions, I soon self taught myself the product. | ||
| My friend that started the BBS sold it and became the Vice President of Marketing for Mustang Software. As a consequence he recommended me to First Internet Franchise Corp. as a network administrator. | ||
|
My next venture was with First Internet Franchise Corp. maintaining web servers with
UNIX BSDI, Windows
NT Server (Internet Information Server and FrontPage), and connecting the world
together with ACC routers. During which time I certified
in CITRIX Winframe servers.

I started teaching myself HTML and as a hobby I brew my own beer so I decided to make a web page out of it. I call it Drew's Brew. |
|
| First Internet went bye bye after two years and I was hired by Channel Solutions Group to be a channel Representative for Cisco Systems. |
|

Being a contract it ran out and now I am now a Sales Representative for a company called Technauts.

I became a Mason at Irvine Valley Masonic Lodge and went through all of the officer positions all the way up through Worship Master.
| Just before First Internet went away I started my own consulting company AG Networks. I now provide all types of networking services and more. | ||
|
|
First Internet came back as First Internet Media Corp, building Web Sites for Radio stations. FIMC was purchased by Innuity. I maintain their webserver farm and several other servers. I also manage three employees in the IT department.
|
|
Well Innuity wasn't doing that well so First Internet bought themselves back. Now they are First MediaWorks. I still do the same thing, but since the 911 disaster they have cut back employees and I no longer have anyone working for me.
| Started my MCSE training. Passed the first core test making me an Microsoft Certified Professional. | ||
| First MediaWorks purchased a new phone system and became a reseller for Artisoft Televantage I was sent to both the Basic and Advanced Televantage training classes. | ||
| Well, First Internet was purchased by MediaSpan. There were three divisions Networks, Software and Online services. I was still maintained the web farm for Online Services. . | ||
| I started investing in houses to rent. I liked doing that so much that I decided to go into Real Estate. I got my Real Estate Salesperson license and went to work for Century 21 Superstars Of course this was the worse timing ever. I sold nothing for over a year. I had to go back to work. | ||
| The housing market crashed and I ran out of money so I had to go back to work in the computer industry. After looking for five months I got a great job at Kelley Blue Book I started maintaining the webserver farms for KBB.com. Pretty much the same thing I was doing at FIMC and MediaSpan. | ||
| While working at Kelley Blue Book I have had the oppurtunity to learn BladeLogic. This is a tool used to deploy files and pathes as well as compare settings on servers. Very handy when you have over 100 servers to maintain and copy files to all at once. | ||
